ORDINANCE NO. 480
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 213 AND 238
OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGEN-
CY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. (BRIARFIELD SUBDIVISION, ALL THREE PHASES)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACK-
SONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following
1 property be and is hereby changed as indicated:
Part of the SW4 NA and part of the NW4 SW4 of
Section 28, T3N, R10W, Jacksonville, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described
as follows: Starting at the NW corner of said
SW% NWT; thence S 88 degrees 28 minutes 30 sec-
onds E 850.04 feet to the point of beginning;
thence continuing S 88 degrees, 28 minutes 30
seconds E 198.35 feet; thence S 1 degree, 27
minutes W 2676.86 feet to a point on the South
line of said NW4 SW4; thence N 89 degrees, 21
minutes 50 seconds W along said South line
194,17 feet; thence N 1 degree, 21 minutes 37
seconds E 2679.89 feet, to the point of begin-
ning, containing 12.07 acres, more or less.
(Briarfield Subdivision, Section 3, Phases One
Two and Three) approximate location: Loop/
Corbin/ Lehman Streets. Rezoned from R -1 to
R -5.
SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
the Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas,
as amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zon-
ing map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in
the respects necessary to effect and designate the changes
provided for in Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any
such conflict.
SECTION 4: This ordinance being necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public health, safety, welfare
and morale of the citizens of the City of Jacksonville, Arkan-
sas, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordi-
nance shall have full force and effect immediately after its
passage.
