ORDINANCE NO. 1. �
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AMENDING ORDINANCE
NOS. 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, that:
SECTION 1. The zone classification of the following property be and is
hereby changed as indicated:
Lots 1, 2, 3 & 4, Block 5, Jones Addition to City of Jackson-
ville, Arkansas. (approx. location - Bailey & Hickory) Rezoned
from R -1 to C -2.
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 601 of the Ordinance
No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238,
and designated official zoning map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent
and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided for in
Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict.
SECTION 4. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate preserva-
tion of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the citizens of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordi-
nance shall have full force and effect immediately after its passage.

Southerly R/W line to the point . of beginning;
thence South 39 degrees 08 minutes 35 seconds
East 1284.1 feet; thence South 49- degrees 42
minutes West 340.0 feet; thence North 38

Section 2: That it is further ordained that the said
lands be and they are hereby assigned and attached to and
made a part of the

Section 3: This ordinance being necessary for the
