0419 ORDINANCE NO. 41/9
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR LEGAL HOLIDAYS, AMENDING
SECTION 2.44070 OF THE JACKSONVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE AND
ORDINANCES 319 AND 189; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that;
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 319_and Section 5 of
Ordinance No. 189 and Section 2.44p70 of the Jacksonville Municipal
Code are amended to read as follows:
"All legal holidays observed by the State of Arkansas are declared
to be legal holidays, effective yj_`l ( / 17 .

Section 2. This resolution being necessary for the preservation of
the public health, safety and welfare, an emergency is declared to exist
and this resolution shall be in full force and effect after its passage.
