ORDINANCE NO. 409
A N ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 397 PERTAINING TO
FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR PLUMBING PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 397 did not establish fees to be charged
for permits and the inspection of plumbing work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
Section 1. Section 4b of Ordinance No. 397 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Application for permits shall be made on suitable forms pro-
vided by the City Clerk. The application shall be accompanied by
fees for the following schedule of inspection items:
$ 1.50 Water Closets
$ 1.50 Bath Tubs
$ 1.50
Sink or Lavatories
$ 1.50 Dishwashers
$ 1.50 Garbage Disposal Unit
$ 1.50
Drinking Fountain
$ 1.50

Section 2. This ordinance being necessary for the preservation of
the public health, safety and welfare, an emergency is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance shall become effective immediately.
