0751RESOLUTION NO. 751 (#04 - 2017)
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPOINTING THE INITIAL
MEMBERS OF THE JACKSONVILLE HISTORICAL DISTRICT
COMMISSION; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, through Ordinance No. 1555 (#15-2015), this City Council created the
Jacksonville Historical District Commission. In doing so, it was left to the membership for
recommendations of appointment of the original Commissioners;
WHEREAS, after due consideration, the District's Membership has designated the
following individuals as recommended Commissioners of the initial Jacksonville Historical
District Commission: Tim Duchesneau; Lida Feller; James Lamb; Joan Smith; and, Jane
Tallent; and,
WHEREAS in compliance with the organizational requirements for the Commission,
the matter is referred to the City Council for formal appointment of the Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESDL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OFJACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT.-
SECTION ONE.- Appointment of the following individuals and designation of
terms for the initial Jacksonville Historical District Commission are as follows:
Tim Duchesneau -- Term to expire 12/31/19
Lida Feller — Term to expire 12/31120
James Lamb — Term to expire 12/31/18
Joan Smith — Term to expire 12/31/19
Jane Tallent — Term to expire 12/31/18
SECTION TWO. Any and all other Resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict. This Resolution shall be in effect from and
after its date of passage.
