ORDINANCE NO. 0 3 SO
AN ORDINANCE MODIFYING SECTION 18.12.110 OF THE JACKSONVILLE
MUNICIPAL CODE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSA S, that:
Section 1. Section 18.12.110 of the Jacksonville Municipal Code and
Section 2303 of Ordinance No. 213 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"No vacant land shall be occupied or used, except for agricultural
purposes, and no buildings hereafter erected or structurally altered shall
be occupied or used until a certificate of occupancy has been issued, pro-
viding such use is in conformity with the provisions of this title. Before
the Building Inspector shall issue a certificate of occupancy the premises
shall be inspected by the City Fire Department to insure compliance with
City Fire Codes and Regulations and with requirements for maintaining ap-
plicable City fire insurance ratings.
Section 2. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate pre-
servation of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the citizens of
the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall have full force and effect immediately after
its passage.
