0378 , • m tv p 17 ` ORDINANCE NO. 27g AN ORDINANCE FIXING RATES FOR SERVICES FURNISHED BY THE WATER AND SEWER DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; PRESCRIBING OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jacksonville has determined a need to modify existing water rates by applying cost of service p rinci les; p , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TI-4E CITY COUNCIL OF that; THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, t h Section 1. That part of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 350 and Section 13.16.010 of the Municipal Code which reads as follows: "Where more than one residential unit (e.g., residence, apartment, mobile home, housekeeping or other unit) or com- mercial or industrial establishment is served through one meter, both the minimum charge and the consumption blocks set forth here - inabove will be increased in proportion to the number of such units served through the one meter. Where more than one meter is re- quired to serve a single commercial or industrial establishment the meter size will be combined for the purpose of determining the minimum rate. Where multiple residential units are served through one meter the minimum charge for each unit will be based upon the residential minimum for a 5/8 inch meter." n outside the City Limits.
