ORDINANCE NO. 3 k
AN ORDINANCE RELEASING ANY AND ALL WATER EASEMENTS OWNED
BY THE CITY ON LOT 8, BLOCK 2, CRESTVIEW ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES:
WHEREAS, The City of Jacksonville, Arkansas has abandoned the
water easement located across Lot 8, Block 2, Crestview Addition to the
City of Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas, said real property being
owned by Ivy Hall and Melvin Hall, his wife;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
Section One. The aforesaid water easement is hereby declared
to be abandoned and null and void and the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas
hereby disclaims any further interest in and to said water easement.
Section Two. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the citizens
of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall have full force and effect immediately after
its passage.
