AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXCHANGE OF CERTAIN REAL � �
PROPERTY, DECLARING AN EMERGENNCY AND FOR OTHER RJRPOSES. ,
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville has been allowed by Bartus & r. r�
M. Gray, the record owner, to use the following property as a means of
ingress and egress to and from the City Police and Fire Departments, said
property being more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Part of the fractional SW 1/4 of Section 19, T -3 -N, R-10-W,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as
follows: Starting at the SW corner of said Section 19; thence
South 88 °04' East 515.0 feet; thence North 01 °37' East 619.84
feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing North 01 0 37'
East 44.0 feet; thence North 88 ° 19'10" West 93.82 feet; thence
South 02 ° 02'30" West 44.0 feet; thence South 88 °19'10" East
94.15 feet to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas owns the following
described property, to -wit:
Part of the fractional SW 1/4 of Section 19, T -3 -N, R -10 -W,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as
follows: Starting at the SW corner of said Section 19; thence
South 88 °04' East 515.0 feet; thence North 01 °37' East 663.84
feet; thence North 88 ° 19'10" West 93.82 feet to the point of
beginning; thence continuing North 88 °19'10" West 22.0 feet;
thence North 02 ° 02'30" East 110.6 feet; thence South 88 °20'30"
East 22.0 feet; thence South 02 ° 02'30" West 110.61 feet to the
point of beginning.
WHEREAS, the parties desire to exchange said parcels of property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
Section One. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Jacksonville,
Arkansas are hereby authorized and directed to execute whatever documents
as may be necessary to convey the first hereinabove described parcel of
real property to Bartus M. Gray in exchange for a conveyance by said Bartus
M. Gray to the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas of the second parcel of real
property hereinabove described.
Section Two. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the citizens
of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to

exist and this ordinance shall have force and effect immediately after its
passage.
