0356 2 r •. ORDINANCE NO, 356 AN ORDINANCE ALLOWING PLACEMENT OF MOBILE HOMES ON PUBLIC SCHOOL GROUNDS FOR SECURITY PURPOSES, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Pulaski County Special School District has ex- perienced a history of vandalism to public school property and feels that there is a need for additional protective measures for its property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that: SECTION 1. There is hereby added to the Municipal Code of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas §18.84,081 which is to read as follows: "The Pulaski County Special School District shall be allowed to place mobile homes on public school grounds located within the Jacksonville City Limits for security purposes. The School Board of the Pulaski County Special School District shall be required to notify the City Inspector of the City of Jacksonville of their intentions before a mobile home shall be located on any school property." Limit of one mobile have per school location. SECTION 2. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
