AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 213 AND 238
OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, certain property owners have duly filed petitions for the
rezoning of their properties; public notices have been duly run in the Jackson-
ville News, a newspaper having authority to publish notice; public hearings have
been held pursuant to the public notices and at the time and place set therefor;
that the Planning Commission has considered each request and has made the
recommendation that the zone classification be changed as hereinafter indicated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
SECTION 1. The zone classification of the following property be and
is hereby changed as indicated:
Part of the North Half of the Southeast Quarter (N) , SE4) of Section
Township r 1 i 50 feet East of Highway 67
30, a North, Range 10 West, lying 1 e g y (now
161), beginning at the Southeast corner of the West Half of the Northeast
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (Ni, t NE /,, SE' /a); thence South 87 degrees
43' West 658.2 feet to a point 150 feet East of the East R/W line of Highway
67; thence North 5 degrees 7' East 361 feet; thence North 87 degrees 56' East
626.4 feet; to the East line of the West Half, NE' /, SEY,, thence South 355.3
feet to the point of beginning, containing 5.17 acres, more or less, and known
to as Mobile Manor. (Rezoned from Class R -1 to Class R -4). Su"""ce eee-'

Part of the Southeast Quarter (SE Section 30, Township 3 North,
Range 10 West, more particularly described as follows:
Starting at the Southwest corner of the SEX SE/4; thence North 900
feet thence East 568 feet to the point of beginning; thence South 150 feet; thence
West 300 feet; thence North 150 feet; thence East 300 feet to the point of begin-

ning, containing one acre, more or less; together with an additional 2.55 acres
situated in the said SE'44 SE' /, and described as follows:
Beginning 561 feet East and 940 feet North of the Southwest corner of
the SE/ SEX; thence West from the said Southwest corner 280 feet; thence

ning; the last two parcels described, being divided by a street and being known
as Happy Mobile Home. (Rezoned from Class R -1 to Class R -4).

of Section 30, Township 3 North, Range 10 West; thence Easterly along the
South line of said Section 30, 833.4 feet; thence North 0 degrees 25 minutes
East 625.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence continue North 0 degrees 25
minutes East 1083.1 feet to the South right of way line of Redmond Road; thence
South 52 degrees 47 minutes East, 265.0 feet; thence South 37 degrees 13
minutes West 175.0 feet; thence South 52 degrees 47 minutes East, 653.6
feet; thence South 49 degrees 59 minutes East, 46.4 feet; thence South 30
degrees 37 minutes East, 110.0 feet; thence South 8 degrees 29 minutes East,
82.31 feet; thence North 89 degrees 03 minutes East, 189.94 feet; thence South
11 degrees 03 minutes West, 173.75 feet; thence South 89 degrees 03 minutes
West, 894.0 feet to the point of beginning, containing 11.22 acres, more or
less. The said area being part of the Overlook Subdivision. (Rezoned from
Class C -4 to Class R -1).
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 601 of the Ordinance
No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No.
238, and designated official zoning map, should be and hereby is amended to
the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the changes pro-
vided for in Section 1 thereof.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict.
SECTION 4. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the citizens
of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to

exist and this ordinance shall have full force and effect immediately after
its passage.
