0666 RESOLUTION NO. 666 (# 12 - 2011)
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING, APPROVING, AND AUTHORIZING THE
JACKSONVILLE WATER WORKS WATER IMPROVEMENTS FACILITY PLAN;
AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Jacksonville Water Works, operator of the water system for the City of
Jacksonville, seeks to make proposed improvements to its system. As a condition of
financing proposed Water Systems improvements, Arkansas Natural Resources
Commission requires review and adoption of a Improvement Facility Plan by the
Jacksonville Water Commission and Jacksonville City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Jacksonville Water Commission, for and on behalf of the
Jacksonville Water Works, and the City Council of the City of Jacksonville hereby certify
that Resolutions have been duly adopted by the Commission and Council and have not
been rescinded or modified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The Water System Improvements Facility Plan is
adopted, approved, and authorized as presented at this Council Meeting. The Mayor
and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to properly notify, execute, and
deliver to ANRC Plan Administrator(s) one (1) or more counterparts of the Improvement
Facility Plan as required consistent with the Plan as presented and hereby approved.
SECTION TWO: It has been found that the Improvement Facility Plan
Amendment is plainly in the interest of the Jacksonville Water Works and that
documentation execution is essential to the required funding available through ANRC.
The undersigned further certify that this copy of the Resolution and its attachments are
a true and correct copy of this Resolution.
SECTION THREE: Any and all other Resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict. This Resolution shall be in effect from
and after its date of passage.
