0290 ORDINANCE NO. 90
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. That Article 25 of said Ordinance Nos. 213 and 238 of
the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, should be and hereby is amended to read
as follows:
"Section 2502. After any proposed change or amendment to
the boundaries or regulations established under Ordinance Nos.
213 and 238 has been considered and acted upon by the City
Council of the City of Jacksonville, any additional proposed
change or amendment to said property affected by the prior ac-
tion shall not be re- submitted to the Planning Commission or
City Council of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, for further
consideration until such time as one year has elapsed from the
date of final action on such proposed change or amendment to
said property by the City Council of the City of Jacksonville."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate pre-
servation of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the citizens of the
City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance shall have full force and effect immediately after its passage.
