0239 ORDINANCE NO. >3 7 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 213 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS: THAT: SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following properties be and is hereby changed as indicated: Subsection (a). Lots 9 and 10 of the Replat of the Hassen Subdivision, Jacksonville, Arkansas; Less the following described land: beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 9 of the Replat of the Hassen Subdivision; thence East along the North line of Lot x,135.0 feet; thence S 25 °28' W, 232.6 feet to the South line of Lot 10 of said Hassen Subdivision; thence West along said South line, 35.0 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 10; thence North along the West line of Lots 9 and 10, 210.0 feet to the point of beginning; rezoned from R -0 to R -2. Subsection (b). Three point six (3.6) acres, more or less, situated in the South half of the Southeast Quarter (SISEk) of Section 29, Township 3 North, Range 10 West, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 478.0 feet North of the corner of Sections 28, 29, 32 and 33 and said Township 3 North, Range 10 West and run Westerly 756.0 feet to an iron pipevhich is the point of beginning for the description by metes and bounds of said tract; thence Southerly 201.0 feet to an iron stake, set in a net wire fence; Westerly 780.0 feet to a point 270.0 feet North of Section line between Sections 29 and 32; thence North about 3 de- grees and 29 minutes East, 201.0 feet; thence.Easterly 780.0 feet to the point of beginning (known as Parker Harden property), con- taining 3.6 acres, more or less; rezoned from R -1. to R -3. Subsection (j). Lots 156, 157, 158, 159 and 160 in Hickman- - McConnell Addition to the City of Jacksonville; rezoned from R -1 to R -2. Subsection (k). Lots 5 and 6, Block 10, Old Town of Jackson - ville; rezoned from R -1 to R -3. SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 601. of Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas and designated official zoning map should be and it is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such con- flict. SECTION 4.
