ORDINANCE NO. 7
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 213 OF THE CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. That the map referred to in Section 602 of Ordinance
No. 213 and incorporated by reference into Ordinance No. 213 should
be and it is hereby amended by substituting the map attached hereto
for the original zoning map incorporated and included as a part of
Ordinance No. 213 and henceforth all properties in the City of Jack-
sonville governed by Ordinance No. 213 shall be zoned and classified
as indicated on the map attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference and referred to as the official zoning map.
SECTION 2. That Article 25 of said Ordinance No. 213 of the
City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, should be and hereby is amended by
adding the following:
"Section 2502. After any proposed change or amend-
ment t� the boundaries or regulations established under
Ordinance No. 213 has been considered and acted upon by
the City Council of the City of Jacksonville, such proposed
change or amendment shall not be re- submitted to the Plan-
ning Commission or City Council of the City of Jacksonville,
Arkansas, for further consideration until such time as six
months have elapsed from the date of final action on such
proposed change or amendment by the City Council of the
City of Jacksonville."
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict.
SECTION 4. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health, safety, welfare and morale of the
citizens of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an emergency is

hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall have full
force and effect immediately after its passage.
