A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OFAND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AN OPTION TO PURCHASE FROM THE CITY OFJACKSONVILLE FOR
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES DESCRIBED HEREIN (GENERAL
LOCA TION - GENERAL SAMUELS); AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES,
WHEREAS, the real properties described on the attached Exhibit A are industrial
properties owned by the City of Jacksonville; and,
WHEREAS, because said properties are adjacent and across from property under
Agreement for lease through the Jacksonville Chamber Foundation, the Lessee has
intention of expanding its potential manufacturing business. As a result, certain City
officials must be authorized to develop and execute the appropriate and required
documents for Options to Purchase City -owned properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OFJACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE; The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Jacksonville,
Arkansas, are hereby authorized to execute an Option to Purchase the real properties
described in Exhibit A. The City Council recognizes and agrees that doing so will, hopefully,
benefit both the Industry and the City.
The Council hereby authorizes Mayor Fletcher, City Clerk Davitt, and City Attorney
Robert Bamburg to draft, execute, and complete the appropriate documents required to
approve an Option to Purchase the properties more particularly described in Exhibit A
between the City and SigSauer Realty Holding, Inc/SigSauer, Inc.
SECTION TWO: Any and all
