BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THF~ CITY COUNCIIJ OF THE CITY OF JACKS ONVILLE, r\RK,ANSAS. 1. It shall be unla~~ul for any person or persons to place or cause to be plaoed any obstructions, automobile, wagon or other vehiole in front of or within fifteen (15) feet of any fire hydrant on any of the streets of the city. 2. It shall be unla~~ul for any person or persons to drag, draw or drive any automobi.1e, motorcyole, wagon, motor bus or other vehicle over, acros s or upon any hose of the fire depar L!llerlt at a.ny fire, or alarrrl of fire or at any time -when stretched for use unless pe!'lLtitted to do so by the conserlt of the Chief '-f the Fire Department or someone acting in that capacity. 3. Any person or persons at 8. fire and not a fireman shall be subject to and obedient to the orders of the Chief of the Fire Department ~r any person acting in that capaoity, in extingui.shing a fire and in the remoTal an~ protection of property, and it shall be unlawful for such person or persons to refuse to obey such orders. 4. Any person so called upon by the F'lre Chief to assist in extinguishing a fire shall be compensated for his services as recorr~ended by the Fire Chief. 5. Where the viola.tion of any section hereof is continuous, each twenty-four (21..,..) hou... shall, after due notioe given by the Chief of the Fire Department, constitute a separate offense. 6. Any person, persons, firm or corporation violating any of the proTisions of thi.s ordinance sha.ll -be fined in any sum not less than Five ($5.00) Dollars nor more than Twenty-}.'ive ('$25.00) Dollars for eaoh offense. 7.
