ORDINANCE NO. 969 (#8-92)
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: 2519 COFFELT
ROAD, ALSO KNOWN AS POLSTON USED CARS); AMENDING ORDINANCES
NUMBERS 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS;
AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following
property be and hereby is changed as indicated:
A tract of land located in the Southeast Quarter (SE
1/4) of Section 4, Township 3 North, Range 10 West,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the center of the aforementioned Section 4;
thence South 88 degrees 13 minutes East, 212.0 feet;
thence South 2 degrees 12 minutes West, 348.5 feet;
thence North 88 degrees 47 minutes West, 212.0 feet;
thence North 2 degrees 12 minutes East, 350.6 feet to
the point of beginning; containing 1.70 acres, more or
less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-O
to C-3. (General Location: 2519 Coffelt Road, also known as
Polston Used Cars.)
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No. 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning
map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes
provided for in Section One thereof.
