ORDINANCE NO. 944 (#7-91)
AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE DATE, TIME, AND PLACE FOR THE
REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING'S- FOR THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 132., 321, 532, AND 689,
SPECIFICALLY CODIFIED AS JACKSONVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION
2.04.040; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT=
SECTION ONE: Ordinances No. 132, 321, 532, and 689,
specifically codified as Jacksonville Municipal Code Section
2.04.040 shall be amended to read as follows:
2.040.040
Regular Meetings
The regular City Council meetings will be held at
the Jacksonville City Hall, #1 Industrial Drive,
Jacksonville, Arkansas, in the Council Chamber, on
the first and third Thursday of each month, begin-
ning at 7:00 p.m.
SECTION TWO: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to th.e extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 'THREE: Because conditions affecting the City's
business and financial needs are of such a timely nature, it
is hereby necessary to the health, safety, and welfare of the
citizens of Jacksonville, Arkansas, that an emergency hereby
be declared and this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and its publication, as provided by appli-
cable law.
