AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION TO THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE
BY KATHERINE SPARKS, CERTAIN LANDS LYING WITHIN THE CITY OF JACK-
SONVILLE, ARKANSAS, FOR PUBLIC USE AS A STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY
(BETWEEN MILITARY ROAD AND HIGHWAY 161), AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
Section 1: The following described lands dedicated the the
City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, by Katherine Sparks, for public
use as a street right-pf-way, are hereby accepted by the City
Council of Jacksonville, Arkansas:
Part of the Northeasterly quarter of Section 31, Town-
ship 3 North, Range 10 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
more particularly described as follows: Beginning at
the point of intersection of the existing Northwesterly
right-of-way line of Highway 294 and the existing
Easterly right-of-way line of Highway 161; thence
North 60 35' East along the existing Easterly right-
of-way line of Highway 161 a distance of 60.0 feet
to a point; thence South 670 21' East a distance
of 33.2 feet to a point on the existing Northwesterly
right-of-way line of Highway 294; thence South 380
43' West along South existing right-of-way line a
distance of 60.0 feet to the point of beginning and
containing 0.02 Acre, more or less.
Section 2: The City of Jacksonville accepts said conveyance
and dedication from Katherine Sparks, and in consideration thereof
agrees that it will layout, grade, construct, and maintain a
good and sufficient street over the entire property as described
above.
Section 3: All ordinances and codes conflicting with this
ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
