0626 s~ ORDINANCE NO. 626 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 566, PASSED BY THE JACKSONVILLE CITY COUNCIL ON DECEMBER 20, 1979, FIXING AND IMPOSING THE AGGREGATE AMOUNT OF FEES, CHARGES AND SPECIAL TAXES TO BE PAID THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS BY THE SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY AND THE METHOD OF PAYMENT THEREOF: DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT: Section 1. It is hereby declared that Section 2 of Ordinance 566 passed December 20, 1979 is repealed in its entirety. Section 2. Section 2 of Ordinance 566 is hereby declared to read: "For the year 1981 the Telephone Company shall pay in equal monthly installments beginning January 1981, the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00) Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 4. It is hereby found by the Jacksonville City Council that there is an urgent need for additional revenues for the City. Therefore, an emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation and advance- ment of the public peace, health and safety shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
