AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING PASSENGERS AND OPERATORS OF MOTORIZED
BICYCLES TO HAVE CERTAIN SAFETY EQUIPMENT, ADDING CHAPTER
10.32 TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSON-
VILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby added to the Municipal Code
of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Chapter 10.32, which reads as
follows:
CHAPTER 10.32
MOTORIZED BICYCLE
SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Sections:
10.32.010 Motorized Bicycle - Safety Equipment
All passengers and operators of motorized bicycles
used upon the public streets and highways of the City of
Jacksonville shall be equipped with the following equip-
ment under the standards set forth by the Department of
Motor Vehicles of the State of Arkansas:
(a) Protective headgear, and
(b) Protective glasses, goggles or transparent
face shields.
SECTION 2. All ordinances in conflict with this ordi-
nance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
