AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: PROPERTY LEGALLY
REFERRED TO AS McARTHUR DRIVE METHODIST CHURCH); AMENDING
ORDINANCES NUMBER 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following
properties be and are hereby changed as indicated:
Part of the E~ of the SW~, Section 18, T-3-N,
R-I0-W, lying West and Southwest of McArthur
Drive and lying irnmediately North of Nixon
Addition to the Town of Jacksonville, Pulaski
County, Arkansas and more particularly des-
cribed as follows: From the Southwest corner
of said E~ run thence East 150.0 feet, thence
N 00 03' E 1025.0 feet, to the point of begin-
ning; thence continuing N 00 03' E 758.4 feet
to the westerly right-of-way of McArthur Drive;
thence S 440 07' E 224.6 feet; thence south-
easterly along said right-of-way 635.85 feet;
thence N 890 52' 30" vV'est 308.78 feet to the
point of beginning.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-l to
R-3 (General location: Property legally referred to as
McArthur Drive Methodist Church) .
SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning
map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided
for in Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any
such conflict.
