ORD INANCE NO. 7 0 3
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: LOOP ROAD ACRES);
AMENDING ORDINANCES NUMBER 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following
properties be and are hereby changed as indicated:
Part of the NW\ of the SW~ of Section 21; T3N, R10W;
Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point that is N89-29E a distance of 861.3
feet from the SW corner of said NW~-SW\; thence NOl-25E
for a distance of 1331.55 feet; thence S89-05E for a
distance of 162.48 feet to the West right-of-way of Loop
Road; thence along said right-of-way SOl-18W for a distance
of 90.07 feet; thence continue along said right-af-way SO-56W
f@r a distance of 1237.46 feet; thence S'89-29W for a
distance of 172.97 feet to the point of beginning, containing
5.11 acres, more or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-O to R-5.
(General location: Loop Road Acres)
SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning
map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided
for in Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such
conflict.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 5tb DAY OF ~1AY, 1983.
WITH THE EMERGENCY CLAUSE (due to the need to provide adequate housing in the
general area of LOOP RD., ACRES) ORDINANCE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
