AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, OR CERTAIN LANDS IN PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES (GEN.
VININITY/LOOP ROAD.)
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, on
certain dates reflected on the minutes of the County Court, upon
the petitions of certain persons owning all of the property af-
fected, after due notice of hearing upon the petitions for the
time and in the manner prescribed by law, ordered the annexation
to the City of Jacksonville of those certain lands hereinafter
described and contiguous to the present limits of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
Section 1: That the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, acting
through its City Council, does hereby approve and accept for
annexation and does hereby make a part of the incorporated area
of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, the following described
real property, to-wit:
IN THE MATTER OF THE PART OF THE NW~ OF THE SW~ OF
SECTION 21; T3N, RlOW; PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Beginning at a
point that is N89-29E a distance of 861.3 feet from
the SW corner of said NW~-SW~; thence NOI-2SE for a
distance of 1331.55 feet; thence S89-0SE for a dis-
tance of 162.48 feet to the West right-of-way of
Loop Road; thence along said right-of-way SOl-18W for
a distance of 90-07 feet; thence continue along said
right-af-way SQ-56W for a distance of 1237.46 feet;
thence S89-29W for a distance of 172.97 feet to the
point of beginning, contianing 5.11 acres, more or
less.
Section 2: That it is further ordained that the said lands
by and they are hereby assigned and attached to and made a part
of the First Ward of the said City of Jacksonville, Arkansas
and zoned R-O.
Section 3: That this Ordinance being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health, safety, welfare and
morale of the citizens of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall
have full force and effect immediately after its passage.
