AN ORDINANCE RESTRICTING INDIV rDUALS FROM SERV ING ON JACK-
SONVILLE MUNICIPAL COMMISSIONS AND BOARDS WHILE RUNNING FOR
MUNICIPAL OFFICE, ADDING CHAPTER 2. 86 TO TIlE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
JACKSONVILLE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONV ILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby added to the Municipal Code
of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Chapter 2.86, which reads as fol-
lows:

COMMISSIONS WHILE RUNNING FOR MUNICIPAL OFFICE

It shall be illegal for any individual, whether ap-
pointed by the Jacksonville City Councilor confirmed by the
Jacksonville City Council, to serve on any Jacksonville Munic-
ipal Board or Commission while running for any municipal
office.
SECTION 2. Any and all ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
