AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REQUIREMENTS OF A PROFESSIONAL BOND-
SMEN IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBERS
317, AND 129 AND SECTION 5.12.030 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
JACKSONVILLE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: Ordinance Numbers 317, and 129 and Section
5.12.030 of the Jacksonville Municipal Code are amended to read
as follows:
5.12.030 License-Applicant proof of moral character.
All applicants for a license to do business as a profes-
sional bondsman in the municipal court of this ci ty shall
provide proof of moral character and reputation sufficient to
qualify one for a state bondsman's license and in the event the
applicant is a firm, all members thereof shall be held to the
same proof of moral character and reputation as is required of
individuals. All applicants must be at least twenty-one years
of age and of sound mind.
SECTION 2. All ordinances before mentioned are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
