AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: EMILY SUBDIVISION);
AMENDING ORDINANCES NUMBER 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSON-
VILLE, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following pro-
perty be and is hereby changed as indicated:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Part of the Southwest Quarter (SW~) of Section 31,
Township 3 North, Range 10 West and Part of the
Southeaster Quarter (SE~) of Section 36, Township 3
North, Range 11 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, being
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a point where the north edge of the
right-of-way of State Highway 161 (Old Hwy. 67) and
the intersection of the west line of Section 31,
T-3-N, R-IO-W, same being the east line of Section
36, T-3-N, R-Il-W; thence N 360 30' 00" E, 779.70
feet along said north right-of-way line to the
southerly right-of-way of Cloverdale Road; thence
N 530 30' 00" W, 150.00 feet along said southerly
right-of-way to the point of beginning; thence
S 360 30' 00" W, 124.88 feet; thence N 530 34' 00" W,
544.65 feet; thence N 470 37' 03" E, 127.91 feet to
said southerly right-of-way of Cloverdale Road;
thence S 530 30' 00" E, 519.99 feet along said
southerly right-of-way to the point of beginning:
Containing 1.53 acres, more or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-O to R-5
(General Location: Emily Subdivision).
SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning
map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided
for in Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any
such conflict.
