AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: EAST OF BAILEY
STREET AND SOUTHWEST OF GREGORY PLACE SHOPPING CENTER); AMENDING
ORDINANCES NUMBER 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following
properties be and are hereby changed as indicated:
PART of the Northeast Quarter (NE~) of Section 19,
Township 3 North, Range 10 West, of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas being more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
Commencing at the SE corner of the NE~, NE~ of said
Section 19; thence N 890 49' W, 30.0' to a point on
the west right of way line of Arkansas Hwy. #161; thence
N 000 10' W, along said right of way line, 288.3'; thence
N 880 36' 37" W, 398. 98 '; thence N 880 58' 08" W, 329. 9 '
to the point of beginning; thence S 300 29' 30" W, 330.46';
thence N 890 15' 43" W, 382.41' to a point on the east
right of way line of Bailey Street; thence NOlo 16' 42"
E along said right of way line, 289.69'; thence S 880 58'
08" E, 543.68' to the point of beginning; containing 3.07
acres, more or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-2 to C-3
(General Location: East of Bailey Street and Southwest of
Gregory Place Shopping Center).
SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning
map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided
for in Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinance~
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any
such conflict.
